Amateur Radio Entry Level Class

  2010 Amateur Radio Class 

 

CLASS: RRRA instructors are teaching a 6 week FCC amateur radio class leading to an FCC Amateur Technician Class License.  A technician license allows amateurs to use certain radio frequencies for emergency communications, family communications, personal technology growth, and to make many new friends worldwide.  

COST: There is no charge to attend the class. We will be using the ARRL Technician Class Ham Radio License Manual textbook which can be purchased at bookstores or online at Amazon.com for approximately $25 (ISBN 9780872590831). Additionally, there will be a $15 per individual testing fee payable to the FCC examiners at the time of the final exam.
