Mentoring class On summer break
Hi all.
We are ready to start the mentor class, the mentor class will emphasize
the general class ham test. This class will be open to ALL hams MEMBERS
AND NON MEMBERS ALIKE, that would like to up grade to general, and some
of you that are general that would like a good refresher. After you all
get your General ,we will start teaching the Extra class. Again if you
are an extra and would like a refresher you are welcome also. You can
pick the book of your choice. We will be using the ARRL General book to
start with. Testing sessions will be set up with the VEs, for time and
location of testing.
Again you do not need to be a member of the RRRA to come to the class
At this time we will not be doing anything with the tech class because
there is a tech class being held the first 2 weeks of October 2009 with
testing on the October 17, 2009
RRRA has a meeting room reserved every Wednesday night starting
September 23^rd . It is on the second floor of the West Fargo Library,
109 3^rd Street East. The library entrance is on the south end of the
building adjacent to the parking lot.
At this time all classes will be starting at 7:00PM

10 Meter Beacon arrives in the FM Area!!
The 10 meter beacon that has been planned since late last summer is now on the air.
It is using the call WØILO on 28.2865 CW from the tower site between Kindred and Walcott.
Of course we are hoping to get reception reports from all sorts of distant states and DX locations, but any observations in the local area are also encouraged.
Send any reports to Alan AIØQ at, ai0q@arrl.net
